My Cherry Mobile Flare Dead?

I had my Cherry Mobile Flare for a couple of years now and I've taken very good care of it. It's a cheap android phone and I do know that cheap android phones are not known for their quality. That's why I was very careful with it.

Cherry Mobile Flare Dead

A few days ago, my Cherry Mobile Flare suddenly stopped working. I charged it and, after charging it, I tried to turn it on but nothing happened. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to turn it on but I failed. Is my Cherry Mobile Flare dead?

Wanting to find a solution or fix to my Cherry Mobile Flare problem, I tried searching for a solution or fix in Google but the solutions or fixes that I found were somewhat complicated and too technical for me. Besides, I don't even know what the actual problem of my Cherry Mobile Flare was.

In the end, I decided to stop looking for a solution or fix online. It was pointless because I won't be able to apply it on my Cherry Mobile Flare. Attempting to fix my Cherry Mobile Flare myself might aggravate the problem.

I guess, I have no choice but find someone who knows how to fix my Cherry Mobile Flare problem. In other words, I have to bring it to a mobile phone technician to fix it. It will cost me a few hundred pesos but I think it's the best solution.

Problems With Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt

Fusion Bolt is Cherry Mobile's cheap or low cost Android Tablet. It was released many months ago for only P3,999 PHP. It was so cheap and the features were good enough that I almost bought one for myself. The only reason that I didn't was because of the fact that I already have a good tablet.

Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt or simply FUBO runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it has a 7 inch IPS HD Display and it's powered by a 1 GHz quad-core Actions Semiconductor ATM7025 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage which means running out of space won't be a problem. It has a 2 megapixel back camera and a VGA front camera.

I won't go into details anymore because FUBO is already an old tablet. I'm sure many of you already read the specs of this tablet somewhere in the internet and, as far as specs and features are concern, Fusion Bolt or FUBO is a beast for its price range.

Unfortunately, just like with Cherry Mobile Flare, Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt is plagued with problems. Some of these problems include the following:

  • charging problems
  • touchscreen problems
  • internal memory problems
  • camera problems
  • operating system problems
These problems are real problems and many Fusion Bolt or FUBO owners or users are experiencing them even to this day. If you're one of the unlucky ones that experienced a problem with your Fusion Bolt then your only choice is to bring it to an authorized Cherry Mobile Service Center.

Remember, having an unauthorized technician tinker with your Fusion Bolt will void its warranty. Also, don't even attempt in trying to fix it yourself. It will not only void its warranty, your action might damage it further.

Are you having problems with your Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt? If you are then post your problem as a comment below and, hopefully, someone will come along and help you with your problem without opening or tinkering with the device.

Cherry Mobile Spark TV, Very Cheap Android Phone

Bought A Cherry Mobile Spark TV

Last week, I bought my wife a very cheap Android Phone and it's from Cherry Mobile. This particular Android Phone is called Spark TV and I got it for only P2,000 PHP. Cheap right? Well, I thought so too and that's why I bought it for her.

Cherry Mobile Spark TV

My wife have always wanted an Android Phone but she doesn't want to spend too much money on it. Fortunately, Cherry Mobile reduced the price of Spark TV from P2,699, which was already low for an Android Phone, down to P2,000 PHP.

The price reduction saved me P699 PHP which I used to buy a Leather Case for my Cherry Mobile Flare.

Cherry Mobile Spark TV Features

Cherry Mobile Spark TV is a very cheap phone but it comes with a lot of features like those listed below:
  • Android 2.3
  • 1.0 GHz Processor
  • 3.5" HVGA Capacitive Touch Screen
  • 512MB ROM
  • 256MB RAM
  • MicroSD Support up to 32GB
  • GSM/GPRS 900/1800
  • WiFi b/g/n
  • Bluetooth
  • 3.5mm Stereo Audio Jack
  • Standard Micro USB 2.0
  • 2MP Back Camera
  • VGA Front Camera
  • Mobile TV
  • FM Radio
As you can see, the features listed above are also available on more expensive phones but you'll get them all in Cherry Mobile Spark TV for only P2,000 PHP or P2,699 PHP (whichever is available).

Pros And Cons

I'm not very familiar with the Pros and Cons of Cherry Mobile Spark TV because I didn't buy it for myself. I gave it to my wife and she is the one using it. I asked her what she thinks of her new Cheap Android Phone and she gave me the following answers:

The Cons
  • the plastic casing is too slippery
  • the battery runs out of charge very quickly
  • installing new apps is hard because it looks for an external Micro SD card
  • it keeps looking for an Micro SD card
  • the screen is not very responsive when touched
  • it frequently freezes when playing Candy Crush Saga
  • battery died early (replaced with a new one)
The Pros
  • plastic casing looks and feel durable
  • very handy
  • strong or loud volume
  • charges battery quickly
The Cons kinda outnumbered the Pros but, except for the battery dieing early, I don't think the Cons are that terrible. In fact, some of the Cons are common with Cherry Mobile branded phones. LOL!

Cherry Mobile Spark TV is far from perfect but it does what it supposed to do and, even with its minor problems, my wife is very satisfied with it. It's very cheap and, if handled and used properly, it has the potential to last a very long time.

So, if you are looking for your first Cheap Android Phone then why not give Cherry Mobile Spark TV a try. Even if it breaks early, the cheap cost of the unit won't hurt your pockets too much.
